Our home school curriculum (KONOS) suggests making yourself what they call a Tree for All Seasons out of a few branches, and decorating it as the seasons change. I like the idea, but I like the things that are going to be in our main house area to be a little…um…”polished,” shall we say. So I bought this tree on sale at Pottery Barn, and made it a focal point in our living room. I want to add a few more things on the table and walls around it, but I’m pleased so far.
We take the opportunity to decorate it for all sorts of reasons–Easter, birthdays, new home school units (such as Origami when we studied Japan). This is a photo of it decorated for Brad’s 6th birthday.
